Erasable Calendar FAQs

What would you like to know about the erasable calendar? Here are some frequently asked questions and answers.

How can I get the markings off my dry erase calendar and really clean it?

One way to get old marks off is to go over them with your dry erase marker and then erase. Strange but true: both marks come off this way.

Some teachers swear by a commercial glass cleaner -- Windex or any of them. There is also cleaner made specifically to clean erasable calendars.

Why use an erasable calendar instead of a paper one?

If things change a lot in your plans, it's easier to erase something that changed and write in the new information in an erasable calendar.

Specially if several people are sharing the same calendar at home or in an office, it becomes way better.

Where can I find a cute erasable calendar?

Most of the ones in the stores are not really cute, but sometimes you can find one when you are out shopping. Your best bet is online. Some companies even make them from a photo you supply.

Whether you buy a ready-made one or use your own photo, be sure the design won't interfere with your using the calendar. Muted colors are usually fine.

I'm going to college and wondering about getting an erasable calendar. Should I?

In college, learning to manage your time is going to be really important. Any tools that work for you are great. A lot of students think that erasable calendars are one of the best ways to stay organized and on top of all the deadlines... not to mention the social events!

Other students prefer using some kind of calendar on their computer. One trouble with that is that if the computer is turned off, you can't see the calendar.

All in all, an erasable calendar is a good tool for college students.  They are often very inexpensive. Don't get one for the current year; get one you can use over and over.
